Navigate to a private island enclave. Crab Cay lies in the sheltered waters of Elizabeth Harbour just east of Great Exuma. Residents will enjoy easy access to the Exuma mainland via gated private bridge, yacht, boat or launch.
Islands magazine recently recognized Exuma as one of the top five islands in the world on which to live, the only island in The Bahamas or the Caribbean so recognized. Exuma is easily reached by regular air service and is just 90 minutes by jet from South Florida. Both commercial and private aircraft are welcomed at Exuma International Airport (GGT) (7,000').
While the entire Bahamas chain is renowned for its clear turquoise water, the area from the Exumas stretching to the south and east toward the Caribbean is particularly vivid and clear. The Exumas and surrounding waters are sheltered from turbulent currents by adjacent islands. On the Tropic of Cancer, the northern tropical boundary, sunlight illuminates the water from a higher angle, reflecting deeper and more brilliant color.
